Listed at the cheapest price we have seen so far, customers can pick up a Moto G on Verizon’s pre-paid network for only $49.99 through Best Buy.
The device features a 4.5″ HD display, quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 5MP rear-facing camera (with LED flash), Bluetooth 4.0, 8GB of on-board storage, and runs Android 4.3 “Jelly Bean” with an update to Android 4.4 available.
It’s a great little device, and you might be surprised at what a $50 can offer you. However, don’t plan on getting 4G LTE connectivity or taking awesome high-res photos with it. But for the price of less than a tank of gas for most people you can get an awesome back up SMARTPHONE (not a flip feature phone) for yourself or that family member with butter fingers.
If you want it, go grab it. No plan purchase necessary.
