Amazon Prime now allows offline download of TV shows and movies
Starting today, users of Amazon Prime can now download Prime Video movies and shows to their Android and iOS devices for offline viewing at no extra charge. The media will be stored locally, perfect for viewing while on a plane ride or while camping in the middle of nowhere.
Unlike Netflix, which only works if you have a data connection, you can now take all of your favorite Prime movies and Prime TV shows wherever you would like. For all of us major media gobblers, this is great news.
Naturally, in order to take advantage of this, you will need to download the Amazon Appstore, followed by the Amazon Video app.
