Blackberry's Android powered smartphone, the PRIV, is now up for pre-order

This could be Blackberry's comeback and last chance

The Blackberry Priv is now up for pre-order in the US for $749.  With tonight’s open pre-orders mean we finally have the full list of specs for this Android-powered security machine. And honestly, on paper, they sound amazing and more powerful than the iPhone 6s or Samsung Galaxy S6.

We have a 5.4-inch QHD (2K) display, 3GB RAM, 32GB storage (with SD support up to 2TB), Snapdragon 808 processor, 18MP rear camera, 3410mAh battery, Quick Charge 2.0 support, wireless charging support with both Qi and PMA standards, a slideout keyboard that also doubles as a touchpad, and of course the personal security that blackberry is know for. Blackberry has spared no expense with this phone.

Unfortunately, this is an unlocked phone that only works on AT&T and T-Mobile here in the US. If you were hoping for Verizon support, you will have to hope and wait for Verizon to announce their plans to carry it.

The rest of the details can be found below.
