A case that protects well without the pocket bulge.
Admittedly I am a case-aholic when it comes to smartphones. I like to get a new case every couple of months just to change things up when it comes to design, material texture, and sometimes because "oh shiny". But one thing I refuse to do in those choices is to give up on protection. Naturally I want the phone to last so that when the time comes to sell my phone on Swappa or Craigslist, I get the most for it when I can describe it as "like new with no scratches or dents". I might go through more phones than the average consumer, 2 a year, but no where near that of a seasoned tech reviewer of eight to ten phones a year so they don't have to worry about re-sale. In fairness, they get their phones free as a demo unit to return as I have to pay out of my own pocket just like the rest of us.
This is why I decided to check out the Ultra Protective Case by Anker for my iPhone 6s. It looks like an Otterbox Defender Case but without the bulk which has always put me off. The Anker case has a built in screen protector, plastic casing, and a silicone rubber protective shell. So will I like this case enough to stick with it once the itch for a new case comes around or will the design, materials, and protection be as close to perfect enough to warranty fighting off that case-aholic itch for more than a couple months.
