Verizon Unlimited customers can get 6 months of free Apple Music on their Android or iOS device starting today

Not to be out done by T-Mobile and offering free Pandora Plus Music to their customers, as a Verizon customer on one of their unlimited plans, you get 6 months of free Apple Music starting today. Assuming you are interested in that, all you need to do is visit Verizon’s site, enroll, and then enjoy.

This is not just an iPhone thing either – remember that Apple Music is also on Android. If you aren’t on another music streaming platform or have always been curious if Apple Music is any good, this is a decent of a freebie. Apple Music normally costs $9.99 per month and you are getting 6 months of it for free.

To get signed-up, Verizon provided the following instructions:
  • Visit vzw.com/applemusic on your desktop or mobile browser, or “Add-ons” in the My Verizon app under “Account.”
  • Select the lines you want to enroll in the free premium Apple Music trial and accept the Terms and Conditions.
  • Each line will get a text message with a link to download or open the Apple Music app.
  • Once your trial is activated, you can manage or cancel your subscription through vzw.com/applemusic or in the “Add-ons” section of the My Verizon app under “Account.”

Once the 6 months of free service ends, you will be charged the $9.99 per month fee unless you cancel. You can cancel at any time too, in case you decide the free usage just isn’t worth it.
