Spec Comparison: Samsung Galaxy S5 VS iPhone 5s

The iPhone 5s is one of the hottest smartphones on the planet. If you’re in the market for a brand new smartphone, there are a lot of options to consider, especially the phone’s operating system. The iPhone 5s, as you probably know, runs iOS 7 – soon to be 7.1 – while the Galaxy S5 will be running the latest version of Android, KitKat. Both operating system have their pros and cons.

The two phones are drastically different: Samsung’s offers a generous 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display while the iPhone 5s has a much smaller 4-inch screen. The Galaxy S5 has both removable storage and a removable battery while the iPhone 5s does not. But the iPhone 5s is made out of aluminum and glass while the Galaxy S5 is crafted from plastic. So, as you can see, the two phones are very, very different products.

We’ve created the table below to help you better understand the differences in hardware.
