The iPhone 5s won’t be the newest Apple smartphone on the market for much longer, but retailers still need to unload the current stockpiles. That means plenty of great deals for anyone looking to buy an new iPhone, including some pretty great savings over at RadioShack on both the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c.
Starting today you can pick up the iPhone 5s with a two-year contract on AT&T, Sprint or Verizon for just $79.99. Even better, you can get the device for free on-contract when you trade in your old working iPhone 4s. RadioShack is also offering the plastic iPhone 5c for just $29.99 with a two-year contract on AT&T, Sprint or Verizon down from its official $99 price.
If you’re desperate for a new iPhone this is a pretty great deal, especially if you’re due for an update anyway. Then again, if you can hold off for a few more months it may be worth the wait. The upcoming iPhone 6 is expected to mark a major update over last year’s model, offering a drastically bigger screen, a sharper display and a redesigned camera. The rumored release for the iPhone 6 is mid September. Even if you’re not interested in a larger iPhone, its launch will probably mean even better deals on the iPhone 5s and 5c so it can’t hurt to wait just a little bit longer.
