At the 2015 Licensing Expo on Tuesday, Warner Bros. released a handful of new photos showing off Batman’s new ride in glorious HD. It looks tough, unstoppable—and incredibly difficult to drive with such big blind spots.
The design is much different from the one we saw in Christopher Nolan’s Batman universe. Batffleck’s ride looks more like the older Batmobiles we’ve seen over the years, which isn’t a bad thing; it’s recognizable as the Batmobile, outfitted with some modern day gadgets. Look at that set of machine guns in the front, for example, and the armor plating. I wouldn’t want to be in a head-on collision with that.
It’s a militarization of Batman’s famous vehicle, and you either love it or hate it. Batman will need all the fire power he can get when he takes on Superman next year. Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is set to hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
